Tottenham and Galatasaray have confirmed agreements have been reached for the permanent transfer of centre-back Davinson Sanchez and the loan of Tanguy Ndombele. Colombia international Sanchez signed for Spurs in 2017 and impressed playing alongside Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld in central defence. However, the 27-year-old lost his regular spot in the north London club's defence and recent seasons have seen him look bereft of confidence. Manchester City full-back Rico Lewis has signed a new long-term contract with the club that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2028. Lewis made his senior City debut last August at the age of just 17 and went on to feature in 24 first-team games by the end of the historic treble season.
